The Two Rivers Platinum (TRP) Mine is a joint venture between African Rainbow Minerals Limited (ARM) and Impala Platinum Holdings Limited (Implats). The operation is situated on the farm Dwarsrivier on the southern part of the eastern limb of the Bushveld Igneous complex in the Limpopo Province, South Africa.  Both a Merensky reef and an underlying UG2 reef occur on the Mine property. Only the UG2 reef is currently being mined.  The TRP Merensky project is the establishment of a Merensky underground mine and a concentrator process plant. The Project is divided into two areas namely:

• an underground mine and associated infrastructure to mine 2.4 Mtpa of Merensky ore for delivery to the concentrator process plant; and

• concentrator process plant for the recovery of platinum group metals from the Merensky reef at the Mine.

On 9 May 2022 G4 Mining and Civils was awarded the Civil and Earthworks for Crusher at TRP Merensky project. This contract comprises of approximately 250 000m3 of Bulk earthworks and around 6500m3 of reinforced concrete. The R127m contract needs to be completed by mid-2023.
